2014 Sydney Film Festival

The opening night film at 2014 Sydney Film Festival on June 4, 2014 was 20,000 Days on Earth. It is 2014 British documentary film co-written and directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard. The film premiered as well in-competition in the World Cinema Documentary Competition at 2014 Sundance Film Festival in January 2014. It won two Awards at the festival.

Taste of Sydney 2014

Taste of Sydney held from 13-16 March 2014 in Centennial Park feature mini-kitchens from different restaurants, along with live demonstrations from chefs. The event has its own currency called "crown" which is used to purchase food and drinks.

Wines of France with Cerbaco

Masterclass Florence Boucheron - the history of the Tariquet company, the process and the complexity of producing Armagnac. Those unique Armagnacs are made only with the Folle Blanche grapes. The first varietal grapes in the 19th century used to produce Cognac and Armagnac.

Sydney Festival 2014

From 9 to 26 January the festival program features above 100 events from local and international artists and includes contemporary and classical music, dance, circus, drama, visual arts and artist talks. Last year the festival attracted approximately 500,000 people. Sydney Festival has a strong tradition of creating opportunities for Australian artists, with 23 world premieres of new Australian work across the 2013 and 2014 Festivals. The Festival's late night venues are the Festival Paradiso Bar and Festival Village in Hide Park with the latter hosting The Famous Spiegeltent, a traditional European wooden dance hall.
