18th Biennale of Sydney

Biennale is one of the major events in the world of contemporary art, like the biennials of Venice and Sao Paulo. Since its inception, the Biennial has presented the works of over 1,500 artists from 83 countries. The event takes place in the city’s museums and galleries allowing the public to discover works by Australian as well as international artists. The theme for the 18th Sydney Biennale is stories, listening and uniting people.
When: Between Wednesday 27 June and Sunday 16 September 
Where: Along an Art Walk from the Art Gallery of NSW to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Pier 2/3 and Cockatoo Island.
