Autumn Racing Carnival takes place in March and April each year in Sydney, New South Wales, and it is highlighted by the two-day 'The Championships' at Randwick Racecourse in April and the Golden Slipper Festival at Rosehill Racecourse in March.

March into Merivale Food Festival

Few years ago the event used to be free to attend, but it is all changed now. So March into Merivale comes at a cost. Entry fee to this year's event is $45 plus booking fee. Quite a significant price jump in five years. So is it worth the entry fee? There are different opinions. Price of admission gets you 8 food and drink tokens, which can be a bit of a lottery. Some restaurant food stalls will take one food token for a sample of their menu, while others may take two tokens per dish.

Water Polo by the Sea

Water Polo by the Sea, the annual sporting event at Bondi Icebergs
